Jacob Nachod (1814-1882) was a German banker and philanthropist. He was Vice Consul of the USA in Leipzig, and a partner in Knaut & Storrow, a major import/export house with North America. He founded the Society of Friends in Leipzig and cofounded the German Federation of Jewish Communities, serving as its president from 1873-1882. He was the first Jewish city councilor in Leipzig.
